Nicola is a marine mammal scientist who has spent more than 15 years researching whales, dolphins and porpoises off the coast of Lewis. She recently launched her own locally based marine mammal charity called Mara and works as a guide for a local whale & dolphin watching company. On land, she enjoys time on her croft, where she is creating a wild flower and tree meadow.
