Iain is a native Gaelic speaker with ancestral links to the Vikings. He was born and raised in the north of Lewis and has lived and worked in the islands for most of his life, teaching across the sciences. A very experienced tour guide, he has a deep interest in local stories and traditions and, in particular, in the paleo astronomy links with the Callanish Stones.
