George is a native Hebridean and Gaelic speaker who, after living and working in Arctic Canada,  returned to the Western Isles where he worked across the islands and the North of Scotland as a Police Officer for 30 years. Now retired, he serves as a member of the local authority as well as working as a tour guide, which he has been doing since 2020.
