Fiona is a Scottish writer who has been living in Harris since 2015. She is an experienced walker and has explored much of the Outer Hebrides on foot. Her walking has informed a book entitled A Place Like This: Pathfinding in Harris & Lewis, which will be published in 2027. A former newspaper columnist, she has a keen interest in the history of Highland land ownership.
