Marianne lives with her family on their croft in Lewis and is an experienced forager of fungi and plants, with an in-depth knowledge of their traditional uses and folklore. She works at the Museum nan Eilean in Stornoway, is an enthusiastic learner of Gaelic and loves to share insights into life on the island she has made her home.
