Liz, whose family comes from Lewis, has lived here since age 14. She is a retired teacher and former head of English at the local secondary school. Fascinated by the history, culture and traditions of the Western Isles, Liz enjoys walking, wild swimming from local beaches, whale and bird watching, local artisan food, books and music. She loves everything Hebridean.
