Liz, having retired as a teacher at the Nicolson Institute in Stornoway, is now an experienced STGA Green Badge guide and crofter, looking after her native Hebridean sheep, hens and cats, and growing vegetables in her garden and polytunnel. She loves all things outdoors – watching the birds, monitoring whales and dolphins as part of the Shorewatch team, and walking.
