Colin has lived on Lewis since 2011 with his Stornoway-born wife. He has an honours degree in geography, and previously worked as a cartographer and teacher. He is the author of several books on the maritime and social history of Lewis and the Western Isles. An experienced guide, he has an extensive knowledge of the island’s landscapes, history and culture.
